Sometimes accidental things work out wonderfully.
I was cutting 1/8 plywood and sanded a section using a used 9" piece of disk from my sander. (I fold it in thirds for ease of use, the glue holds it firmly together so sand is on both sides.) Instead of putting it down to continue cutting, (I was in a rush), this time I just held it against the wood. A WONDERFUL HANDLE. That thin stuff is tough on the fingertips when cutting many pieces. This was as simple as laying it on the piece, putting my hand on it flat, and pushing. My fingers really appreciated that.
