Regardless of what you may or may not be full of, "MY" opinion is that if there were more folks like you in the world, the world would be a happier better place.......

It should be against the law, to have so many in one place; and that was even without Rob and Diane Bosworth. :-)

I thought that same thing but did not want to offend my friend. If I did that it would be a horse of a different color. >.<
One thing about it, I bet Sharon never NAGS Ed because she is just too sweet to do that. ;-)

I'm sure Mr. Ed wouldn't mind a little friendly horsing around.

Ed,
I'm finding myself agreeing with you and Harvey, on the issue of calling next year's get-together, "The 2nd Annual Engraving Etc. Beach Party."
The sublimation-only crowd will always consider ARA Las Vegas, "An Engravers Thing."
There was very little DSSI enthusiasm exhibited, in response to he original anouncement, and even less, in response to the link to the photos, which I recently posted.

David,
What if we move the event to a location other than The Beach? It may not always have a beach theme. Maybe we should just call it the 2nd Annual Engraving Etc. Las Vegas In-Formal.

As you say, The Beach Party theme may not always apply. In any even it will always be the Annual Engraving Etc. ARA after-party. :-)

God forbid, we should take that large of a crowd back to Quark's, would we call it the "Quark's Party"? Hopefully not.
I think it it should be held AT "The Beach" until we're sick of it....for several reasons.
1. It's unbelievably convenient to the convention center.
2. It's large enough.
3. The second floor room that we use is private with a bar, dance floor, PA system, etc.
But even if it is NOT held at The Beach, I think the reference to "Beach Party" fits our group at this point regardless of where it is held. We now have a historical use of the phrase.
And besides, Las Vegas is kinda like "the beach"...without the water. B-)

I agree that "The Beach" is so conveniently located, with all the ammenities, that we'd need a serious reason to change venues.
We occupied a small portion of the overall available space, making a much larger party, easy to accomodate, if necessary.
The special events coordinator, Barry, was very easy to work with and very flexible.

The "Beach Party" name sounds great, no matter the venue.
We enjoyed the place, except for the cost of drinks. Fortunately we don't drink. :O
