The fog is heated mineral oil, also known as fog juice. It is not that bad to breathe in small quantities, but does leave a bad taste in your mouth.

I let a friend borrow my J bass for about a year and he brought it back yesterday. I started doing some research to help me get back into it and I found this clip. It ain't bad either.
