Dee,
The message I just wrote disappeared when I hit "post". My two biggest disappointments were not getting an engravingetc badge and not meeting you and Harvey. I'll have to make the time to stop by your store one of these weekends.
Do you think the cost of exhibiting is too high due to the cost of renting the space, or the hosting organization is getting too greedy for its own good.
After last year's show I felt it was worth going again. After this year's, I'd question that. A lot less variety/selection. I want to see different materials, equipment, applications... Not another 3 vendors selling the same wood plaque. I go to learn what's out there and what's possible.

I have a few people who I've promised badges to.
Once those obligations have been met, I'll send however many are left, to whoever may want one of these highly-coveted, 2006 EE collectible items. :-)

David, could you post a picture of the badges. I would love to have one but mostly just want to see what they look like.
Thanks
Bill

Nice. Thanks for the pix. I couldn't see it very well on the pictures from Vegas.

Ken:
I hope you went back by the booth. Epilog's marketing guru (and the gentleman who supervised the design, engraving & handing out of the badges) was out of pocket (at another trade show, I believe) and there was a bit of a communication mix-up with the folks who were running the ARA/New Jersey booth.
We THINK that everyone else who went by the Epilog booth was able to pick up a badge. Sorry for the confusion!

Thank you for clearing up the issue of the badges.
"In by 12 out by 2" is great.
I was in by 8 Thurs. out by 3:45 on Friday. I took advantage of all the classes. you really learn alot. If the classes weren't on Sat. I would have stayed for them as well.

Jeanette,
Not being in the market for another laser, I saw no point in going back to the booth when 2 people knew nothing about the badges. That is where I ran into Mr. C. from the forum. I don't know if he ever went back.
