For every subject, there are really only two things you really need to know. Everything else is the application of those two things, or just not important.

After reading the above statement what are your "Two Things" .

Give us your "Two Things" on the following - Pick one or pick them all - the only stipulation is you have to currently work with the process. (In other words if you do not Sandblast you cannot comment on Sandblasting)

Rotary Engraving
Laser Engraving
Hand Engraving
Sandblasting
Vinyl Cutting
Sublimation
Hot Stamping
Screen Printing
Trophy Building
Corel Draw
WoodWorking

This purely for entertainment purpose. Enjoy.

Brette - thanks for the woodworking - I Knew I would forget something good. I have added it to the list.
Dad always taught me measure twice and cut once and it is good advise in a lot of things in life not just woodworking.

Thank You

Raising Teenagers:

1) I'm NOT as stupid as they think I am.

2) I'm NOT the only parent who said "No, you can't do that/go there/have that."

Jeanette - Very good. My daughter used to start all serious questions with the same statement "Dad I have a question". My normal response was - "Lets make this easy - the answer is NO". She soon learned to phrase her requests more eloquently. :P

Jeanette,

Kalan will be a teenager in a few months, and I'll probably pull all my hair out by then.

We might need to call you for some advice...

Cody,

You're confused. :S  Jeanette isn't old enough to have a child in their teens.

2. When the customer is wrong

Refer to number 1.

David,

You're right on both counts: I'm confused AND she's not old enough.

I think the kids are adopted...they may even be her younger siblings, and she just CONSIDERS them her children.

Peter,

That's a bold assertion to make on this forum. We've had several threads that I know of that seem to PROVE that the customer isn't always right.

You might want to do a search for "customer isn't always right" or something similar. I think that was the actual thread title, but I'm not positive.

Peter,
I prefer the one, the customer is always wrong, I just let him think he's right.

Did you ever notice that the customer's correctness is directly proportionate to the size of their budget? ;-)
