Full Version: .ai, .tif files crashing corel 12

I was going to uninstall and reinstall Coreldraw.

Went to the task manager, clicked on Coreldraw 12 and saw a support option, clicked on it and it said something like,
"If this program is not working properly click on repair and it will reinstall program to original settings"
I had to put in Coreldraw disc and it did its thing without resetting all my defaults.
So far it seems to be working (insert knocking on wood here).

Thanks,
Greg

That is pretty much what Corel 9 does with the F8 button. Except you do not need the disk.

Glad you are running smoothly now.

You can do that with the F8 key in 12 also I think, but it resets everything to Coreldraw defaults in the tool bars and palletts.

It never hurts to defrag your drive on a regular basis. Besides making your system faster, it does help a little to avoid certain problems.

Thank you Paul,
I do regular defragging.
It is good advise.
