Or some greedy, sneaky, advantage takin' lawyer will start a class action suit against the vendor on behalf of ALL of the licensees...

Wouldn't surprise me a bit; we all know where most of that money winds up.....

Steve,

Ballstars will also be at the NBM Long Beach, CA show, coming up next week.

I told the owner, I'd drop by and introduce myself. No confrontation. Just a chat.

Because Ballstars is a proprietary process, with proprietary materials, there are no competitors.

We don't offer the process here, and have never had a request for it. But I'm guessing that if it ever becomes widely popular, we will see very similar products from our friends offshore in 5...4...3...2...1...

With just a hint of volume, niche manufacturers fall prey to this kind of competition every day. Not too good for early adopters to a "proprietary" system...but not too bad for the rest of us.

Jim,

As you say, once a company develops a strong demand for a proprietary process/product, patent infringers are close behind.

To all ballstars owners.....

I am currently looking at the ballstar system, and I called directly to andy and asked him if I would be competing with ballstars...his response was "they sell their products to china and i would not be competing with them" after reading your posts I see that this is not entirely true.

thank-you for your posts. I do like the product, I think that even the people that have been wronged, like the product and don't like the company.

If anyone is selling their system, I would be interested in purchasing it.

Thanks

Mark,
I have not read the entire thread, but first let me say THIS SUCKS!!!! Especially to have it happen to you. ( Why do things like this happen to good people) Given the level of service and ethics you adhere too.

Have you gone to the TOPMOST managment level and screamed?

Edit: I have since read the entire thread. Apparently you have.....

Perhaps in my post in "Topic of You Choic" about a revolt, I should have mentioned the decline in ethics in this country as well.

I'm sorry this happened to you Mark.....but hold your head up. YOU take the high road and set an example of ethics and customer service that should be an example for us all.

Chuck,

Don't you mean Ballstars, not Topmost?

Been doing too much Maui wowie?

He meant the topmost management level. "Topmost" equaling "highest". I was thinking the same thing until I re-read the sentence.
