I haven't tried it in a signature, but in regular posts if you leave out the HTML and just put the URL, with the http part, the forum converts it to a link. Like this:
http://cee.innovativetestenvironment.com

thanks Dave
it worked fine!

Harvey,
OK I tried this twice and no luck what am I doing wrong?
This is what I am entering:
<a href="http://cemlasers.com"> </a>
Is this right?
Do you check the box that states using HTML?

You need some text between the two parts of the tag. After the first ">" and before the "</a>". That tesxt is what people actually see. They don't see the link itself. So you might want:
<a href="http://cemlasers.com">CEM Lasers</a>
Also, be sure to check the little "contains HTML" checkbox in the lower right of the signature box.
Since everybody else seems to have a sig, I decided to add one too. ;-)

Yup.
Also, be aware that with HTML, you can add line feeds by using a <br> tag anywhere within your text (such as before the address)

One last thing any critique on the website would be appreciated. We should be going live any time now.
