Rght person...wrong "receiver".... :-)
I was out of town for a "conference" for a week and a half. I would have stayed for 2 full weeks but I would have needed 14 changes of clothes and I only had room to "Pac-10"....

I noticed that I posted to you, instead of Joe.
I was "rushing" to get a few puns in, before the good ones were "down" in print.

Looks as though I was "sacked" when you posted to me instead of Steve.
But I notice that Dave Jones is getting "extra yardage" out of all this.

Sorry I couldn't get back yesterday, I had problems wirth my new ISP. They ran a 25 cent special on a faster line but it didn't work. I complained and asked for my quarter back...but they told me to take a "hike"!

I heard the owner of the internet company is a lady. If I were you, I would have "center" a letter of complaint.
That should bring an "end" to your situation.

Actually I did...thought it would be dificult, but as it turns out, it was a "snap"....
I guess if it doesn't bring results, next time I'll have to try a "shotgun"!

Actually they've decided to settle...they're going to send a "nickel back"!
I was so touched over their customer service that I got a little misty "eye formation".....

Steve,
Don't feel bad. It's not the first time I've heard of a company showing a cold "Shoulder Pad" their bills.

Not a problem, at least I'm not "down and out".....
Besides, Uncle Loren is going to have one of his law enforcement buddies pay them a visit. He's been printing shirts for the officers....calls them "penal tees".... :-)

Tell Loren to make sure the shirts are licensed.
Most teams send people out to monitor unlicensed merchandise. Last time out, I hear there was a "mascot."

Yes, Uncle Loren already had inspectors show up unannounced while he was eating his corned beef lunch....scared him so bad he left "hash marks" on his seat....
(uh oh,....got chilly in here...is there a "draft"?)
