Jer - I will attempt to explain this as best I can. Go to the Basic Shape on your left tool bar and get the flyout - pick basic shapes - then go to the your top tool bar and you will see a slanted rectangle - press the arrow key - you will then see your triangle with the top cut off - select it.
Then to round the corners you will need to go to the top tool bar and select windows - dockers - fillet/scallop/chamfer - you will get that docker flyout - from there select fillet and the radius you wish on the corners then click apply - you will get a message that it is going to change you shape to curves - click OK
It is simple once you have done one or two - experiment a little with the basic shapes and the filet/scallop/chamfer docker
Hopefully you can follow all that - I do not teach Corel - obviously :-$

BluePaw is exactly correct - got to windows then Dockers (down about 7)
then down 20 to fillet/scallop/chamfer. I think this is new in 13

In your case you may have a hard time finding it in X3 if you only have 12 :P
Don't feel bad we all do something stupid from time to time.
If you can send me the specifics of the drawing you want I will try to make it for you and send it to you in V12.
Otherwise I suggest that when you can upgrade to x3 - I love it after getting used to most of the new upgrades in it.
