I just got a 6 GB pocket drive ($30 special from Staples email) and I was wondering if there is such a thing as a software program that can back up my files daily/nightly?
The price was right so thought I would use this as a backup file system but not sure about what software I need to use to achieve it.
Thanks,
Puck

Puck,
I use a program I purchased from zipbackup.com for $30.00 that does a great job. This program backs up to a zip file which allows you to store an unbelievable amount of data.
Restoring is as easy as unzipping a backup and selecting the files you need. You don't have to restore them to the program they were created with. I back up 4 computers on a network to a DVD through the scheduler in XP while I sleep. I also schedule my data files to backukp between computers as added security.
Check it out-definately worth the price.

Can this be found on their website? Unfortunately we do not have a Staples in the blue pacific. :-(

Unfortunately I don't think so. It was an email special only from what I read and not offered any other way. Was a great deal I thought for what I was needing.
Sorry,
Puck

Chuck,
Don't feel bad. We are without a Staples as well. Although, there's no shortage of other office-related venues.
