Okay so this should be an easy one to answer. I bought some marble desk plaques and bought a painted brass plate to attach to the face. What would you suggest using to attach the plate to the marble. I have used the plates for other application but they are usually attached with screws. Never really thought about how I would attach it other wise: double sided tape? What do you suggest? As always any help is appreciated

If the plate doesn't have pre-drilled screw holes, I would use the double sided tape.... the thin stuff so it doesn't stand off from the plaque.

BTW, did anyone else notice the automatic spell checker has started to work?

Nick,

As Steve suggests, an aggressive double-faced tape should work well.

Another option, if a piece were particularly heavy, would be to use a slicone sealer as the adhesive.

If you went the sealer route, it would be necessary to tape the piece in place (masking tape) while it dries, to avoid the piece moving from its desired position.

2/way tape. The thin stuff.
