Hi,
Could anyone send me instructions how to change x-belt on Epilog Legend 24 TT.
One more question... What will happen if x-belt snap during engraving process?
Thanks

NISCHCHI,

Did you check with Epilog's tech support guys?

303-215-9171 (press 1 for first available)
or email tech at epiloglaser.com

I don't understand something!
Why Epilog hides such thing from us!!! When I say "us" I mean us who are owners of Epilog laser systems. We paid a lot of money for their systems and didn't get any serious documentation from them.
I would like to have all documentation for my laser system regarding:
Maintaining, cleaning, changing parts...
All of that PRINTED in full color.

Owner's manual for Epilog is kids stuff. It's emberrassment for us and for them too.

I'm satisfied with my machine but documentation is very poor.

NISCHCHI,

Are you asking about replacing the belt for "reference" only or do you need to replace a belt now?

Typically, when Epilog tech support sends out a part (belt, e.g.), they include instructions re: how to replace the part. On the other hand, there is occasionally a part that's easier to replace while you're on the phone w/ a technician (rather than reading a document).

Having said all that, if you need help replacing a belt now and you didn't receive instructions with the belt, I'd highly recommend calling Tech Support at 303-215-9171.

I really couldn't say it better than Rob Bosworth said (in your other thread which copies this post) but I'm an "old-timer" who saw the manuals back in the Eclipse & Summit days (1st & 2nd generation Epilog lasers) -- today's manuals are masterpieces compared to those! ;-)

Your local distributor (I don't know where you're located -- nothing in profile - so WE may be your distributor!) or Tech Support would most likely be capable of providing any documentation you need. If you find there's something that can't be provided, let me know. Especially if it's of a generic nature, I'd be happy to request that someone write it up and post it.

I commend you on having read the manual cover to cover! I wish all our customers would! :|

Hope that helps ...
