We had a rock (just a rock) that was spray-painted with "John 3:16", and not very nicely done (I can say that because I'm the one that painted it), stolen from in front of our business a while back. I sure hope they put it to good use!

Carl,

Just goes to show that some people steal religiously.

Way back in a past life Dee and I had a screened etching kiosk during Christmas. A few of them were stolen. Those were an etching of Christ captioned "God Bless This House".

Duh!

The number one most often shoplifted book in the world is The Holy Bible.

Looks like "grounds" for prosecution if you can find them.... >.<

Uh oh!

Believe me folks. I didn't put Steve up to that one!

I don't want to be accused of using a "plant."

Don't worry David....everyone knows you're quite capable of "shoveling" it yourself.....after all, you have quite the reputation of being a pun "hoe"..... :-)

Steve,

Not so fast!

Everyone knows you're at the "root" of this!

Seems like an overabundance of "fertilizer" is suddenly showing up in this thread..... :P

Well, we certainly don't want that rumor to "take hold"...and I certainly didn't mean to make light of the situation.....

As Uncle Loren's great grandfather used to say back in Ireland...."'Tis a sod story indeed".....

Steve,

I apologize. I wasn't attempting to "soil" your reputation.

David,

No problem...I'm used to having "turf" luck!....but I always manage to "land" on my feet!

I suppose it's due to my excellent "terraining".....

Steve,

I love it when you talk "dirty."

David,

I guess it helps to have a sense of "humus'....

But I feel bad for trashing the thread, so I thought I would get serious and offer some help to LogoJohn concerning the situation. I understand that there is a masked man in his area that specializes in tracking down folks who do that sort of thing.

They call him the "Loam" Ranger........

Steve,

I've heard of that scoundrel. He also goes by the name of "Peat Moss."

He was last seen helping a dwarf, fortune teller escape from prison.

The authorities are looking for a "Small Medium at Large."

Uncle Loren was telling me about that...said the fortune teller is a card reader that is also extremely fit with tight abs......he's known as "tarot Firma"...

ba domp bomp!

Uncle Loren was also telling me about his ancestry dating back into the 5th century. He had a relative that used to go around maniacally plowing the fields behind everyone's home...terrorizing folks as he went....

He soon became known as "A Tiller the Hun".....

Steve,

Loren's relative sounds very resourceful, with a story that could be the basis for a "nursery" rhyme.

In fact, if he were a modern-day worker, I'm sure he could have become a "branch" manager.

If our fearless leader doesn't move this thread from here to the "Pun Zone", he may end up doing a root inspection in the marble orchard! (devil)
