I just spoke to Al DeSisto from Epoxies, and he is sending me a sample of the one part epoxy. I have the two part and it's going ok, but I wanted to try the one part. He seems to think it will be ok for what I am doing with it.
I put photo's on the dog tags, and thought it would be nicer to look at and also not scratch as easily.
I will let you know how they do.

An epoxy dome will protect the surface of the tag itself, but the epoxy will scratch.
Scratches won't be too noticeable unless they're particularly deep.
I've been using some one-part UV cure urethane, because I needed a coating that wouldn't yellow with exposure to sunlight.
Works very well on small pieces, but is kind of finicky when trying to cover name badges and larger items.

I used a one-part UV cure epoxy for the EE badges.
Thank you for the compliment. I hope to see you wearing that badge in-person some day. :-)

Oh, but of course! :-)
