Full Version: Corporate Binders

I have a CPA, that would give me all of their corporate seal, rubber stamp business if I could provide them with corporate binders..... ( three ring binder with fancy text on it)
I would need the blank binder and then a way to imprint it. Hot stamp won't work because the inside of the binder would already be in place so it could not lay flat.
I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks

Larry,
Yes they are you basic 3 ring binder with a textured cover much like you would find on a photo album, not the vinyl cover typical of school binders. It also has a "box" the binder slips into.
I had actually thought of using laser thins....but your way might last longer.
As to how many, they will come in on or two at a time on an indefinite basis.....
Thanks

I have touched my corporate binder 6 times at the most, in the 20 years I have been incorporated.
Now I just have to find a source for them....Sage, here I come

(Last time I saw mine I gave it to the attorney)
How about Rub n Buff to decorate the binder? I never have used the stuff, but it says it will stick to any dry surface. Cut a mask and Rub n Buff. Might work. Comes is a good selection of colors too I think.

How about vinyl graphics for the cover?

Dave, thanks..
The challenge is they want it on the spline.....but maybe I can explore that......I'd like to figure this out...this is one of those "niche" markets everyone keeps talking about....and there are LOTS of CPA's on the island.
thanks

A sign shop should be able to provide you with the pre-weeded vinyl, on application paper.
Create a hinge with a piece of masking tape, remove the protective backing, squeegie onto the binder and remove the top masking.
So easy, even I can do it and I have. :-)

My reading comprehension is shot. I thought you already had the binders.

Hey Chuck.. first call me in the morning. at 215-887-8982 in addition to Engraving signs and rubber stamps.. were an office supply store.. we use a couple of companies for doing the corporate seal kits... to give you an example.. not only do you need the binder.. but you need the corporate min pages.. the assignment sheets for stocks.. need to be able to print stocks ... comon or par value.. have them numbered etc... one company in Sterling out of canada.. the does the entire thing for cheap.. cheap.... did I say cheap.. you call them.. and less than a week.. its in.. another is Carolina marking systems.. and I am sure there are others... We make corporate seals using our laser and mech engraver.. but for the entire package.. it is simpler to farm it out.. unless this lawyer is very big.. and giving you more than a few a month.. I would send it out.. if you would like to talk more.. call me
or use flex brass.. from romark

Thank you Bill, I will be calling you.........I can make the seals here as well.
It's a CPA...he does not need the paper, he fills the binder himself.....price will be a factor....and out in the middle of the ocean, well, it gets expensive......because of freight...
BUT, who know. I'll be calling you tomorrow. Thanks for the help

Then if that is the case look into a pad printer or a used hot stamping machine
or cut gold foil using your laser for a decal.. I have even seen some companies just use View binders sold at any office supply house.. and put in a decorative ivory or fancy paper printed from a computer printer..
and yes view binders come with the binding side having a slip in opening

The hot stamp won't work because of the rings... possibly a pad printer, but I know nothing about pad printing.......
I'll talk to you in the morning.....any particular time better than another?

Dude - use laser foil instead of vinyl - that way you can do it in house on demand. Laser foil is just polyester instead of vinyl.
