Hi all - I have been purchasing black marble paperweights (item #J-20) for years from Jon-Ko. I carry this item in stock and sell them regularly. However, I just ordered some from Jon-Ko for a yearly order for one of my clients and am dismayed to find out this product is discontinued!!
Does anyone have a source for just basic black marble cubes - no holes needed? I even have special black velvet pouches set aside just for these, so I am really bummed.
If anyone has 25 of these in stock and wants to sell them to me, I'd be up for a conversation about that too.
And to make it worse, Jon-Ko has also discontinued their clear plaque bags with the gold award imprint on them. This just is a very bad day for me....:(

Have you ever ordered back marble from Onyx Art?

No, I haven't used them. Being in OR, ordering from Jon-Ko has been the best I can do for marble - straight up I-5.
I'll contact Onyx Art and see if they have something similar. This discontinueation puts me in something of a bind, as I have 1/2 of the product here in stock and will have to probably order all new stock if I can't find the same elsewhere.
I think I'm more bummed about them discontinuing my award bags though. I really like those bags and use them daily for all our awards except the higher end styles. Back to the drawing board...

I don't see Onyx Art in my supplier catalog listings, although I've heard of them. Do you have contact info on them handy?
Thanks - Cindy

You can send them to school, teach them, test them, but you have to let them go on their own...... but they keep coming back for more..
Internet is a great invention........ http://www.onyxartinc.com/

Looks like Mark beat me to it.
I believe Jon-Ko and Onyx Art are both located in the San Diego, CA area, so if you were comfortable with Jon-Ko's location, you should be fine with Onyx Art. :-)

There is a division of Topline Awards called Bases 4 All. They may have what you need. Here is a LINK.

Thanks guys. My info was out of date and didn't have the website or e-mail address listed. I did find a phone number for Onyx Art. They do have the piece, but price is double what I was paying at Jon-Ko, which will kill me on 25 pieces - $7.00 to $13.00 each.
I'll check with the other company and see what price they have. Next year I can reprice for client, but this year I've already given them their price based on what I thought I would be buying them from Jon-Ko for.
Thanks again,
Cindy
