Some of you may have heard of Julian Beever. He is an artist who is famous for his 3-D chalk art on pavement. Enjoy the pictures in this LINK. His gift is incredible.EDITED: 9 Mar 2006 by DATAKES

David,
These are unreal. Does this guy make any money doing this? Can you imagine this being done at the Olympics? Can't you see him on Letterman?
Amazing!

Dee,
It looks to me like Coca-Cola Bottling is a major company to commission his art. I've been looking to add a person to my staff. If I could get Julian at the right price, I'd take the chance. ;-)

My mother-in-law is an art major and has worked at different galleries where she has lived. She was familiar with Julian's work, but must have been holding out on us because she just now shared his work with Jill and I via his website link. I still can't get over what a gift he has.

I got some pictures from a different artist however he works on walls. Take a look at the before and after pics.
This is inside the miller brewing company I have more pictures but they are very large I sized these down to post.

Mike,
That is equally impressive. Is that towel hanging there to wipe off the bloody noses and foreheads from slamming into the wall?

I was lucky enough to be in Rome Italy a few years ago to see Julian Beever do his thing up close and personal. It is amazing. He does do alot of setup prior to it however. His stuff only looks like that from certain angles. if you aren't looking at it from the right angle it looks like some sort of distorted piccaso painting. Surprisingly enough though, Julian can almost eyeball the right angle every time.
