I have a customer who needs a big golf trophy(about 3 feet tall) that can have plates added each year it is given. I gave him catalogue pictures of big walnut bases with a 1 foot golfer on top. He would prefer a trophy with tall columns. Any ideas on how I can incorporate a trophy with columns on a base that will accept multiple plates?
Thanks,
Tony

Tony,
One way to accomplish that concept, is to build a 4-column trophy, leaving ample room for a plaque board in the center area.
Attach a rod to the bottom of the plaque board, so it can be attached to the base, much like a trophy figure.
Plenty of room for individual plates.

I have seen trophies like that with a tall board as the center column. The plates were added to that.

I have a couple of golf customers who have a long plaque say 3 ft x 8in, with a golf club mounted on it and the plates 2 up running down beside the handle, One customer had the 'stick' bent into a corkscrew for the hack event, (whenever it was in for update I used to leave it in the window for novelty effect) sorry I don't have any pics. One had a flat piece of wood for the base, one was wall mounted. Just another idea.
