That is the equivilent of them providing you with a plaque that has a one-inch scratch that is touched up with a Sharpie. It masks the problem a little, but the lack of quality is usually evident to the recipient. No, that wouldn't be acceptable this time around. In the past I have sent out awards that have blowouts but only when I warn the customer that because of their insistence on their choice of fonts and/or small font size blowouts are forgone conclusion.
