Dave,
I think Toni answered your question, and it wasn't the news you wanted.
A blown out letter covered up with nail polish is unacceptable quality. That is the equivilent of them providing you with a plaque that has a one-inch scratch that is touched up with a Sharpie. It masks the problem a little, but the lack of quality is usually evident to the recipient. Sad, sad, sad!

Toni,
Good to hear for you, stranger! Thanks for the input and no, blowouts would not be acceptable to this customer. Time to fill his second wish and get him the blaster, he got his first wish filled when you agreed to marrying him.

David,
You posted as I was responding to Toni. No, that wouldn't be acceptable this time around. In the past I have sent out awards that have blowouts but only when I warn the customer that because of their insistence on their choice of fonts and/or small font size blowouts are forgone conclusion.

Does that fall under "be careful what you wish for" or "Your prayers WERE answered and the answer was NO!" (devil)
