Joe-
Did you use your rotary attachment on that? How in the world did you get your design all the way around the circumference of the egg?
Thanks
Becky

Yes, the rotary attachment would have been used. Eggs are surprisingly tough. We used a little double-sided tape to keep the egg from slipping in the rotary attachment.

I cant see how a rotary attachment could have been used on that egg , or in fact , a laser? Im talking about the one in the pic on the stand , maybe I'm missing something here?EDITED: 11 Apr 2007 by RODNEY_GOLD

Rodney,
I'm thinking Joe's pulling a belated April Fool's joke.
Not that he isn't a skilled laser operator. :-)

I think I saw that picture a few months ago in a thread. Dremel engraved.
Since Stunt let the cat out of the bag...

David-
That was my first thought as well...
Not that Joe couldn't pull it off, but knowing his sense of humor and the fact that eggs really aren't his market....LOL
But he certainly has the skill...no question about it.
Now Joe, don't you feel bad about yanking our chain when we are saying such nice things about you? (devil)

LOL! Can't speak for Joe's egg, but mine was definitely done on my laser with the rotary attachment. I'd sure feel a lot better if Joe's was a belated April fool's joke! I've seen some very intricate eggs done with a dremel. Can't see the same level of detail happening with the laser - it would probably collapse within the rotary's grip. Again, not sure where the market would be for this sort of thing, but it was fun to try. ;-) By the way, fair warning to you all, these things STINK while being laser engraved! >.<
