Hi Chuck,
That was my first thought as well but I didn't seem to get anywhere.
I renamed it with all sorts of extensions to no avail.
I've sent it back to my customer this morning and asked for it in either .cdr or ai
Have to wait and see waht happens I guess.
Thanks for trying
Regards
Dave

If they can't do a .cdr or .ai, maybe they can do a PDF?

Gary,
Did you rename it in Windows Explorer or in a dos window? That will actually change the header in the file.
Edit: Well I posted before trying it. It works that way in OS/2.
I do not have the software to open eps files on this computer but I wonder if you changed the heading in notepad does it open?

Hi Dave.
I was hoping that I could get a vector file straight off, however if I can't, the PDF might be the only option
Thanks
Dave

If the others aren't available, a PDF can contain vectors and can be imported into Illustrator or CorelDraw as vectors. (PDFs can also contain bitmaps, and those will stay as bitmaps, so it all depends on what program created the PDF as to what you end up with)
