Engraving Concepts is where I got my laser from, but it has nothing to do with them. I have a weird schedule and we haven't come up with a meet time yet so I am doing what I can and when Roy or Randy make it up this way, then we will get together.
Now for the door issue in getting it to fit...I would have to rip out the door frame itself to get this thing in the room, so even if I had gotten the door off its hinges, I still would have had an issue. Actually I would have two because now I would have to get the door back on the hinges.
Figured out the problem though( or at least found out how to work around it. I was going with a downloaded screensaver that was causing the glitches. I changed screen savers and haven't had any issues since. Of coarse I just now loaded the engraver driver, so we will see. I am running around all day tomorrow, so it will be Saturday before I can do a test run (per book instructions) to make sure everything was put in right. And if not, then I know where to go for help.
Thanks for the advice and the moral support from the ones who showed me that I am not the only one that has trouble fitting square pegs into round holes.

It can be easy to fit a square peg into a round hole. But as you have found out, not if the square peg is too large.

Hi Franklin .... I think I might have a solution to your Vista problem. Get Norton's Disk Partioner program and it will create any number of partitions you will need then instal XP under one of the new partitions and use the, I believe, dual boot-up option. This allows you to choose which OS you want to use. I have never utilized that but should work for you. I don't think you have to have an additional disk drive.
Good Luck!

That is what I was looking to do. Generally, I can partition out a computer with no problem, but since Vista is an alien to me, I was having difficulty figuring it out. Thanks for the advice. I may have figured out my issue, but if not I will look into getting the Norton partitioner.

When we purchased our 8 color automatic screen printing press (used), the company that we had bought it from was having a new 10 color installed in it's place. They failed to measure the garage door and when the new larger printer arrived, they were unable to fit it through...They literally had to take a chizel and hammer and remove several cinder blocks to bring the new equipment into their shop....It looked like something right out of a road runner cartoon only shaped like a press. ;)
It was funny to us....but I'm sure it was no fun for them.........
