I know there is a tape out there for engraving tables, you can keep one piece down and easily lift off plates. Who makes it??? I use the multimat looking for other options also......for rotory not laser.

I get mine from Western Trophy & Sign Supply out of Portland OR, they are also located in AZ and CA. 1-800-775-2927 (T-1, 2 or 3 is the number).
It's made by Intertape, non-permanet double sided tape. This is the tape I prefer but there is also another that I just remembered that is clear and made for the engraving table which is number T-7, 8 or 9( I don't use this kind but a lot of engravers do).

If you use the Multi-Mat.............. dosen't it leave a silicone residue (oil slick) on the table???? Mine does and I don't think the engraving table tape would stick unless you cleaned the table throughly before each use.
Report back to us to see what you work out.

Quality One sells a cloth tape that I use.
The tape is 2" wide and I cut it about 1/4" (so you have a piec about 1/4" X 2") it sticks great and lasts forever.
If you get it from Quality One, be sure and ask for the cloth tape, they also sell a paper table tape that doesn't work quite as well.
